People in the Iloilo Provincial Capitol are confused as a result of the dismissal of Gov. Niel Tupas and two board members. Tupas was served with dismissal order by the DILG and sworn in Vice Gov. Obet Armada and Senior Board Member Manny Gallar as governor and vice governor respectively. The dismissal carries with it perpetual disqualification to hold public office. There was news of Tupas' battery of lawyers flew to Manila earlier today to file writ of certiorari in the Court Of Appeals.

Now, the problem is who will the people in the provincial capitol recognize as the governor. Tupas refuses to step down and is camping out together with his horde of supporters in the capitol building giving out orders to bar the entry of Armada to the building. This disrupts the business process in the capitol as everyone is wary that any transactions entered today might be nullify.

There is, supposedly, a scheduled SOPA by Tupas today.
