Ilonggo Drivers Don't Know Road Courtesy

I hate to say it but in my daily driving routine, I observed that ilonggo drivers have no regards whatsoever with their fellow drivers. Everyone seem to own the road. Nobody wanted to give way for the sake of better flow of traffic. Each one has their way.

If you've been listening to Aksyon Radyo in the past couple of weeks, they've been hitting the so-called mini-terminals in the city. There are no mini-terminals actually, just places where jeepneys spend time longer than usual waiting for passengers. That results to traffic congestion especially during peak hours. I understand they need to wait for passengers, they just need to spend a reasonable amount of time and not the whole day. What's worse is that some drivers double, sometimes triple, park.

It's not only jeepney drivers that lack discipline. Private vehicle drivers exhibit the same road behavior. It's a common sight to see super-expensive SUVs park in the middle of the road and no one telling them to move. Got some extra cash? Go buy yourself a Nissan Patrol and park it anywhere. No one's going to touch you. Try it.
