It's been a while since the last time I played Magic the Gathering. Today, somebody left a comment on my personal blog pointing to a local Magic site Magic Iloilo. It's good to know there exists an active community for local players. It helps to have some sort of central location to get information about the next tournament.

My all-time favorite deck was an all black necropotence/discard. Complete with Hypnotic Spectres and Feldon's Cane (this is not black actually). I tried to stay away from Stasis blue decks most of the time. My favorite deck to play against was Green/White Ernham-gedon combo. I swear, I hated Swords to Plowshare card the most.

It had won me in tournaments around UST, DLSU and here in Iloilo but, unfortunately, I had to part with it when I was in dire need of cash. I hope to build my deck once again just for the fun and memories of the time I spend countless hours perfecting it. Anybody?

I lost my driver's license ID card. I don't how, when or where I lost it (that's why it's called lost, right?). The last time I remembered using it was in Western Union branch in M Lhuiller in Quintin Salas, Jaro when I receive money from a client abroad.

The card looked badly beaten and has tons of tiny staple wire holes from numerous traffic violations. I don't expect to recover the card and I hate going to Land Transportation Office to get a new one but I have to. In fact, I hate going to government offices unless I have to. Those places are full of slow moving people.

I was at the LTO last week to process the renewal of my car registration. It took me two days to finish everything. If your work pays you daily, it's two days worth of salary down the drain.

I need to get another one so I'll go there. The lost license ID is going to expire 9 months from now. Is it possible to renew the license this early?

I'm rambling here but I have no one to blame. I'm stupid. Really. It's the 3rd driver's license ID card I've lost throughout my driving life. I can't count the number of notarized affidavit of loss I paid for those cards and a slew of legal documents lost in the past.

It's friday afternoon. Too late to go to LTO office to process this thing. Meaning, I'll be driving for two days without a license.
